You’ve got a new bike in the garage. Or maybe you just picked up a second-hand gem that deserves a second life. Either way, the next step is the same: protecting it with RideWrap.
With so many bikes, builds, and configurations out there, choosing the right protection kit can feel intimidating at first. The good news is that we’ve built our ‘Find Your Bike’ tool to make it simple, accurate, and confidence-inspiring.
This guide walks you through exactly how to find the right RideWrap protection kit for your frame. The same process also applies to forks and cranks.
Start by heading to our homepage and look to the left side of the main navigation.

Click FIND YOUR BIKE and you’ll land in our bike selector. This tool is designed to narrow down your exact bike so we can show you protection kits that are built to fit precisely.
Match Your Bike, Step by Step Our database mirrors manufacturer specifications as closely as possible, so if you are ever unsure, pull up your bike on the brand’s website and match what you see. Once you do, the selector becomes very intuitive.
Here’s how it works:

1. Select the Component
Start by choosing Frame from the first drop-down menu. You can follow the same process later for forks or cranks.
2. Choose Your Brand
Select the manufacturer of your bike.
3. Pick the Model Year
This refers to the official model year, not always the year you purchased the bike. Just like cars, bikes are often released a year ahead. If you are unsure, use the year and model toggle. This allows you to select the model first and then work backwards to confirm the year.
4. Select the Exact Model
Make sure you match the full model name. For example, a Stumpjumper and a Stumpjumper EVO are different bikes, and a Turbo Levo is not the same as a Levo SL. Many brands include helpful descriptions in the selector to guide you. Take a moment here. Accuracy matters!
Dial in the Details

Once the model is selected, you’ll be prompted to choose your bike’s specific configuration.
Sub-Model
This is usually the build level, such as Comp, Expert, or Pro. Not every bike includes sub-models. If the option does not appear, simply move on.
Wheel Size
Choose between 29, 27.5, or mullet (MX/29, pictured) where applicable. Many brands change frame shapes based on wheel size, especially at the rear end, so this selection is important.
Frame Material
Carbon and alloy frames are shaped differently. Alloy kits account for welds, while carbon kits follow molded tube profiles. Selecting the correct material ensures a precision fit.
Size
Bike size is often printed on the seat tube. If you cannot find it there, check the manufacturer’s geometry chart. Tools like Geometry Geeks can also help you compare measurements.
Choose Your Protection, Kit Finish and Check Out

Next, you can choose the level of protection. Tailored, Covered or Essential, the choice is yours! Once everything is selected, the page will automatically display the protection kits that match your bike. From here, choose Gloss or Matte. If you are unsure which finish is right for your frame, check out our dedicated video that explains the difference and helps guide that decision.

Add your kit to the cart, continue shopping if needed, or head straight to checkout. Pricing will automatically display in your local currency.

That’s It. You’re Protected! Finding the right RideWrap kit is that simple. Take your time, match the details, and trust the process. If you still have questions, our team is always happy to help.
