How to Find a Reputable Installer for Your RideWrap Kit

While RideWap is designed as a complete DIY product, you may choose to have it professionally installed. Correct installation ensures your bike stays protected and looks flawless. To help you choose  the right installer, we’ve put together this guide:

1. Has the installer worked with PPF on bikes before?

Why it matters: Installing paint protection film (PPF) on bikes involves a unique process compared to working on cars or other surfaces, making it tailored specifically for bike frames.

What to ask:

    • “Have you installed PPF on bikes before?”

    • “Do you have experience with RideWrap kits specifically?”

2. Can they show you examples of their work?

Why it matters: Seeing examples of past installations gives you an idea of their skill and attention to detail.

What to ask:

    • “Do you have photos or bikes I can see with your previous installations?”

3. Do they follow a proper installation process?

Why it matters: A proper install requires a clean workspace, the right tools, and an experienced installer who follows RideWrap’s installation guidelines.

Checklist for your installer:

    • Do they thoroughly clean and prep the bike before installation?

    • Are they using a controlled, dust-free workspace?

    • Do they use tools recommended for RideWrap PPF installation?

    • Are they familiar with RideWrap’s install resources?

    • Will they confirm you have the correct RideWrap kit for your bike prior to installation?

    • Do they offer a service warranty? (bubbles, misalignment, lifting edges, replacement pieces…etc)

4. Can you verify their credibility?

Why it matters: Reputable installers will have positive Google reviews, testimonials, or a proven track record in the community. This means you can find a shop that will help you with your install and any future concerns.

What to ask:

    • “Do you have reviews or testimonials from other customers?”

    • “How long have you been installing PPF (specifically RideWrap) on bikes?”

5. What should you do if you’re not satisfied with the installation?

If you’re not satisfied with an installation, we recommend first addressing your concerns directly with the installer. Give them the opportunity to resolve the issue. If the installer claims the issue is related to the product rather than their workmanship, feel free to contact us. We’re happy to help assess the situation and provide guidance. Be prepared to send us photos of the problem area(s), along a proof of purchase/order #, and an image of the original RideWrap box and template.
